Taking place 3 days before the events of the 1982 classic, it will show the original Norwegian crew who originally discovered the frozen "THING" alien.
The discovery of a huge spaceship frozen in the Antartic ice plains leads to the discovery of the shape shifting creature .... which appears to be dead. Its not long before the creature is unleashed from its ice prison where it has remained dormant for thousands of years..... and so begins the terror as one by one the crew realise that they are not alone.
In a desperate race against time, the crew realise the true scale of horror should the creature be allowed to reach civilisation.....
