TRANSFORMERS 3 - Dark of the Moon -review
So here we have the third instalment of Michael Bays Tranformers movies ... so what do we get ..??
The first movie was by far and away superior to the second Revenge of the Fallen ... so in my opinion the first movie is always the one to beat. Can Dark of the Moon pull it off..??
Well .. yes and no.
There are a few issues I have with the 3rd and so-say final instalment ... the biggest complaint being NO MEGAN FOX .... to say she bought flair to the screen is a serious understatement ... that said her replacement ...Rosie Huntington Whitley .... is something for the guys .... but between them both there acting abilities are marginal at best.
The plot...?? Well ...its a bit confusing but the simplest easiest way to describe it is ... the Decepticons are out to enslave the entire human populous ... and guess who has to stop them..?
Correct Sam and the Autobots .. led by Mr Optimus Prime himself of course.
The plot in this movie is far better than the Revenge of the Fallen ... yet it just falls short of the original movie ... but the big question here is ... Does it matter..?? NO...of course not.... because ...why do you go to see a Transformers movie..??
Special Effects.... explosions and loads of action.... and I have to admit that this movie delivers it superbly. Here are easily some of the best special effects action sequences to have ever graced the big screen ... the grand finale in Chicago will leave you breathless .... and lets be honest ... this is the reason we go to see this kind of movie.
There is kind of a lull during the movie half way through .. but hell ... who cares.... so.. scores are below.
